Ventilation Resiliency Series

Many hospitals in Ontario have not conducted full testing of their air handling systems in a long time and are therefore unable to know if they are meeting CSA standards or have correct pressurization. Older systems may be suffering from air leaks, dirt build-up and performance deterioration and in need of some targeted maintenance and repair. Sensors may be out of calibration, in the wrong places or insufficient to provide proper monitoring and control. Smarter programming can often deliver better indoor environmental conditions with far lower energy, emissions and utility costs.

We are addressing these issues and more in a series of webinars which will present systematic approaches to upgrading air handling systems which every hospital can use to obtain the win-win-win of healthy indoor spaces, healthy communities, and a healthy planet.
